Technical Support

Tech SupportMusic EDnet technical support covers a wide range of areas, from assisting IT staff in the setup configuration and commisioning of computer music systems and Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) through to advice and help for teachers on all aspects of music, audio and media technology.

Support vs Training

Support is generally all about setting up and configuring technology and sorting out solutions to any problems or specific needs. This includes computer software and systems, PA gear and live sound, electronic instruments and the majority of related technology (eg classroom sound, projection systems).

Training, on the other hand, is providing teachers (and others) with the necessary know-how required to utilise technology effectively and confidently from an operational perspective. Training is also available from a curriculum/pedagogical perspective and delivered by appropriately experienced EDnet team members.

Remote Assist

Music EDnet offers a special remote assist support service to help educators solve technical issues or configure software on their personal computers. We can also provide one-on-one training remotely. Music EDnet can connect to your computer (with your permission) and take control as if we were there sitting next to you. This is a convenient time-saving way to obtain support when you need it and overcomes the barrier of distance. As long as you have an internet connection we can assist ... remotely.

EDnet Hub Subscribers receive up to 2 hours of Remote Assist per year as part of their subscription. Remote Assist is available separately at an hourly rate of $90 +GST ($99.00) charge in increments of $22.50 +GST ($24.75) per 15 minutes or part thereof.
